That is why Thomas Hagemeijer founded HGM Advisory — to build a curated network of the best HealthTech practitioners and activate them for clients who need deep, hands-on expertise rather than generic consulting frameworks.

The decentralized model

Unlike traditional consulting firms that staff engagements from a fixed pool of generalists, HGM Advisory operates as a decentralized network. Our 50+ experts are independent practitioners — clinicians, hospital leaders, venture capitalists, digital health founders, health economists, AI researchers, and MedTech operators. When a client brings a challenge, we identify and assemble the best-fit team from within the network.

This model means every engagement is led by people with direct experience in the client's specific domain. A pharma company building an AI-CDS tool works with a clinical AI researcher and a former pharma digital officer — not a junior analyst learning the space.

Founder & CEO

Thomas is a management consultant with 5+ years working on HealthTech projects across the full ecosystem — pharma, MedTech, investors, startups, hospitals, and policymakers. Before founding HGM Advisory, he worked at a leading strategy consultancy on healthcare transformation projects across Europe. He is an investor at Springboard Health Angels and an Ambassador at both HLTH Europe and Healthcare Business International (HBI).
